Buy Bitcoins in US easily using Coinbase

If you are in the US and wondering “Where do I purchase bitcoins?”, there is a new site called Coinbase.  Based in San Francisco they have secured a half million dollars in startup funding and are becoming pretty popular.

Basically all you need to do is Link your bank account to their site.  This can be done 2 ways.  There is instant verification or deposit verificatio.  With deposit verification, they will deposit a small amount of money in your account, and you need to tell them what the amount was.  This usually takes a couple days.

I personally have been using Coinbase for the last 3 weeks and have not had a problem.  Once you actually decide to buy the bitcoins, you wont get them for 4 business days or so.   That is a little bit of a pain but, alot easier than some of the other options out there.
